📺 Install Smartcric on Your TV
Smartcric is not in the Play Store, so you install it using a short code. It takes about three minutes. You only need your TV remote.
Step 1: Install Simple Downloader
On your TV, open the Play Store and search for simpledownloader.
Install Simple Downloader by Tricasol. It has a purple icon and it is first in the list. Other apps have similar names and orange icons — do not install those.
When it finishes, open it.
Step 2: Enter the code
At the top of Simple Downloader there is a long bar. Type 112233 in it and press the arrow button.
A file called smartcrictv.apk starts downloading. It is about 43 MB and takes around fifteen seconds.
Step 3: Allow the install
Your TV will show a message saying Simple Downloader is not allowed to install apps. This is normal.
Select Settings on that message. Find Simple Downloader in the list and turn its switch on, so it says Allowed. Then press the back button.
The installation continues by itself. Press Install when your TV asks you.
If Simple Downloader is not in that list, or the switch does not turn on, your TV is hiding this setting. Contact us below and we'll walk you through turning it on, then come back to this step.
Done!
Smartcric is now in the apps row on your home screen. Open it and choose a match, the same way you do on the website.
If something does not work
Your TV says "App not installed." Your TV is probably out of space. Delete an app you do not use. Then delete the file in Simple Downloader and download it again.
Nothing downloads after you type the code. First check that you installed the right app. The code only works in Simple Downloader by Tricasol, the one with the purple icon. It will not work in any other downloader app.
If you have the right app, check that you typed the code in the bar at the very top, and that it is six digits with no spaces. If you see a list of search results instead, your TV searched for the number instead of opening it.
